The Grand Forks KnightRiders returned home after the Thanksgiving break to take on western rival Williston in a back-to-back homestand to end November at Eagles Arena, taking down the Coyotes 14-0 in conference play. "The 'we' in team was still there," KnightRider head coach Alex Hedlund said. "Front to back, I was really impressed with our performance." Scoring was aplenty against the Coyotes, as the game started with a goal at the 2:18 mark of the opening period, and 12 goals were scored combined in periods two and three. Several KnightRiders finished the game with multiple points, including Abby Schauer, who had three goals and three assists; Morgan Stenseth, who tallied three goals; and Katelin Peterson, who had one goal and three assists, among others. Kaylee Baker started in goal, her first game as a KnightRider as an eighth grader. Baker finished with nine saves on nine shots. "It was a good shutout win for Baker," Hedlund said following the game. The KnightRiders improved to 2-1 on the season and 2-1 in the conference.
