Patriots down Chargers in Straight Sets

MAYVILLE -- The May-Port-CG Patriots may have started slowly, but they quickly caught their feet, defeating the Nelson County Chargers 3-0 in non-conference play Tuesday night at the May-Port-CG High School gym in Mayville.
The Patriots defeated the Chargers by scores of 25-19, 25-6 and 25-14.
May-Port-CG was led by Raina Satrom and Danica Hanson's five kills. Kiaza Carlson added four kills.
Hanson added seven service aces and 12 assists, while Carlson added eight assists.
​The Patriots will travel to Park River on Thursday for a Region 2 matchup against the Aggies.
